I feel there must be something about Englishmen with guitars which just drives the Australian public wild. I mean look at the way Australia froths every time The Wombats announce a tour (usually once every 8 to 12 months), we go absolutely wild for them, and the same can be said about that soulful crooner George Ezra.
Now, some may say (probably just me) that Ezra must have signed a pact with the devil (he’s current FB likes are 666K) to get a voice that sweet and lyrics that masterful, but he might just be someone who’s insanely gifted and blessed also. After winning all the hearts with his 2013 hit ‘Budapest‘ and his debut album 2014’s ‘Wanted On Voyage‘, the very suave Englishman returned in 2018 with his sophomore album ‘Staying At Tamara’s‘.
Returning to Australia in 2019 for a run of massive dates across the country Ezra will play to some of the biggest concert theatres the nation has to offer. The singer-songwriter returns after just leaving our shores back in March when he toured the nation after unfortunately having to pull out of Splendour In The Grass in 2017.
