The collaboration between Kilter and Woodes is really something that I didn’t quite expect. Both artists have a very distinctive sound on their own that are really different ends of the electronic genre. Yet it seems that when these two pure souls come together in the studio the results are unrivalled.

Waste Time is three and a half minutes of scuzzy guitars, EDM drops, percussive explosions coupled with sassy vocal quips with a real bad-ass attitude about it all. The track is like weird blended hybrids of indie-rock meets hip-hop electro banger with a healthy dosage of scuzz. Woodes brings all the sass with her most Beyonce-esque lyrics to date in something that is completely unheard of before from the Melbourne songstress. Oh, and that grinding baseline you hear throughout the track that makes you want to hit up a dive bar and dance on the tables, that’s Kilter’s own dad!
