Two weeks ago Sydney artist Elizabeth Rose released her beautiful and poignant track “Division” which focused on her beliefs LGBT marriage equality. If you haven’t heard it yet then you really should be getting onto it. It’s not just a track with a beautiful and powerful message it’s also a great track to have a jam to and at the moment all the monies from the single are being donated to the Australian Marriage Equality.
The track has been doing really well and I know that I listen to it at least 5-10 times on a daily basis on my drive to work. Miss Rose has now also released the music video for the track which again sets LGBT relationships at the centre.
The video follows the story line of an young gay couple struggling for acceptance from parentals, living together and one is obviously thinking of proposing. It’s a great video with great meaning. So many LGBT people struggle for acceptance not only in the face or marriage equality but at home amongst there own families who may not be accepting of them. Check out the video below and head on over HERE to grab yourself a copy of the single.
