Fresh from reaching venue capacity at their last night Rare Finds are back with Round 2 of their Indie Club Nights. Launched last month as a Free that’s right 100% FREE night of Indie music set in the humble state of The Sly Fox in Sydney’ Enmore district. The night serves as a great platform for many new and upcoming local indie acts as a place to cut their teeth on the stage and show them off to a new crowd.
Sharing the stage this month around at the Sly Fox are the talents of Hey Geronimo, Sea Legs and Polish Club supported by Vision DJ’s and Buddy Systems DJ’s. Hey Geronimo have long been an act I’ve been keeping an eye and will be bringing the party to Sydney ahead of releasing their debut album later in the year. Sea Legs will be celebrating the release of their new single + EP at the show after spending the last 12 months on touring stints with British India, The Griwolds & The Growlers. Opening the night will be Sydney wonder kids and recent Triple J Unearthed winners Polish Club. These guys have won over the listeners of Unearthed with their Garage Rock inspired sounds and have recently earned them a rotation spot on the Triple J main station.
So there you have it. What more reasons do you need to head on down to the Sly Fox in Enmore on the 29th of May? But you might want to get down early, last month they reached capacity fairly early in the night and you don’t want to be one of those suckers left out in the cold.
