Katy Perry revealed today that the first 300,000 copies of “Prism deluxe edition” will come with a special iridescent packaging as well as a prism seed package to help “spread the light.” In today’s modern music world PR and Marketing teams get paid big money in order to come up with ways to promote artist albums and to make the release as one of a kind as they can, and we can certainly say that this is one I’ve never seen before.

So has Katy Perry gone a little too cooky with this deluxe edition special or is this a one of a kind innovation of going green and good marketing? Will you be grabbing a plough with your Katy Kat paws and planting your Prism seeds?
